“There will certainly be some changes to the line-up, as some need a breather, while we cannot risk injury to others.

“I can confirm Antonio Di Natale is in the squad, but at least to begin with will be on the bench. This is necessary when there are several games in quick succession, especially as against Roma we need to work very hard indeed.

“We’d like to repeat the performance we put in against Juventus and naturally the same result too,” said Colantuono of the 1-0 victory in Turin.

Mohamed Salah is suspended, but the tactician assures “that won’t be a factor, as Roma have so many options to choose from in attack.

“Roma are not top of the table by chance, as they’ve played these opening rounds very, very well.”

Udinese are without Guilherme, Alexander Merkel, Duvan Zapata, Panagiotis Kone and Maurizio Domizzi.

It's a special fixture for Colantuono, who admits his family support Roma.
