Sampdoria striker Patrik Schick has passed a medical and can resume training after a cardiac concern, but his future is still up in the air.

Today he underwent more tests in Milan after a month of rest in Prague and light gym work.

“This is a medical centre famous throughout Europe and we are absolutely happy, because the tests showed the lad is healthy,” Sampdoria medic Baldari told Sky Sport Italia.

“The problem, which will be explained in a Press release, has been resolved. The lad is healthy, tomorrow he will start training and be given the all-clear to compete at a professional level.

“He does not need more tests, the professor told us that it’s all clear.”

The Czech Republic international had been all set to join Juventus last month when abnormalities in his medical ground everything to a halt.

He was not allowed to train until more tests into the issue, but Juve pulled out of the transfer when Samp refused to renegotiate the terms of the deal in light of this new information.

Now it remains to be seen whether Schick will remain at Sampdoria, resume negotiations with Juventus or – and this is becoming more and more likely – head to Inter.

Other alternatives for him include Tottenham Hotspur and Monaco.
