If the Morocco international does leave Roma for at least €30m, then the Giallorossi need to find a suitable replacement.
According to the London Evening Standard, the prime target is Tottenham defender Chiriches.
It’s hardly a new link, as the 24-year-old Romanian was already on Roma’s wish list a year ago when he opted to join Spurs.
Having failed to settle in London, Tottenham are prepared to let Chiriches go and Roma would welcome him with open arms.
