Chelsea signed left-back Ben Chilwell from Leicester City for a reported €55m, meaning Emerson Palmieri is expected to join Inter.
The deal for Chilwell was confirmed today, with the England international putting pen to paper on a five-year contract.
It frees up current left-back Emerson for a return to Serie A, where he played for Roma from 2015 to January 2018.
He made the €20m move to Chelsea under Antonio Conte, but only managed seven games with that coach.
