Juventus winger Federico Chiesa has cancelled his holiday so he can focus on training and be back playing as soon as possible, according to reports in Italy.

The 24-year-old has been sidelined since January after picking up a serious knee injury during the 4-3 victory over Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.

He missed the rest of the campaign as well as Italy’s World Cup-qualifying play-off defeat to North Macedonia.

And Gazzetta dello Sport report that, while his team-mates will take time off over the summer, Chiesa will be at the Continassa training ground to ensure he is back playing as soon as possible.

The report adds he was initially training alongside Denis Zakaria and Moise Kean but while the two are preparing to take some time off like the rest of the team, Chiesa is focusing on his fitness.

Chiesa recently posted a video on Instagram of him running at the training ground and is looking to be back on the pitch to help his team-mates as soon as he can.

He joined Juve at the beginning of the 2020-21 campaign and has finished fourth in both seasons with the Bianconeri.

  1. Basically he has been on holiday since the injury so all these players should be the same as Chiesa. However since most of them are greedy selfish people, Federico’s actions looks like something special lawl

  2. This guy is special. I hope he comes back stronger and shows Serie A what they’ve been missing. We’ve seen to many times players coming back from ACL and not returning to the highest level ir relapsing. I wish you all the best. Can wait to see him in action again
