Chelsea are reportedly hoping to gift Juventus target Aleksandr Golovin and Roma’s Alisson to Coach-elect Maurizio Sarri.

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea have displaced Juve at the top of the queue for Golovin and ‘will not be put off’ by CSKA Moscow’s €30m asking price.

The newspaper explains the Blues liken him to Real Madrid and Croatia midfielder Luka Modric, while former CSKA boss Leonid Slutsky – ‘key’ to the 22-year-old’s progression – is close friends with owner Roman Abramovich.

Golovin’s route to the first team would also be freed up by the sale of Danny Drinkwater.

As for Alisson, The Telegraph claims Chelsea are prepared to sell Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid if they receive an offer in the region of €56.5m.

In turn, that would fund an assault for Alisson – who is valued at little over €10m more and is the Londoners’ ‘first-choice replacement’ for the Belgian.
