The top four will go down to the wire, as Milan and Napoli enter the final round on 76 points, with Juventus on 75.

The last fixtures will see Milan visit Atalanta, who are already sure of a Champions League place on 78 points, Napoli-Verona and Bologna-Juventus.

There is another element that needs to be considered too, because on Wednesday evening Atalanta and Juventus go head-to-head for the Coppa Italia Final.

It is entirely possible La Dea will focus all their attention on that game and rotate against Milan.

Having said that, Atalanta have more strength in depth than most Serie A teams.

Milan have a superior head-to-head record with Juventus, so they could even lose to Atalanta and still qualify, as long as Juve don’t beat Bologna.

Napoli and Juventus have an identical head-to-head record, so if they finished level on points, that would be decided by overall goal difference, and the Partenopei are clearly in front on that score.

Milan also have the better head-to-head with Napoli, having won 3-1 away and lost 1-0 at home.

If both Milan and Napoli were to lose, and Juventus draw, then they would all be on 76 points and it’d become a mini-league of their results against each other.
