Cesena are expected to pull off something of a coup by signing Zenit St Petersburg playmaker Alessandro Rosina.

The 26-year-old left Torino for Russia in 2009 to experience playing abroad and in the Champions League.

He was a member of Luciano Spalletti's title-winning squad last season, though it's thought he would like to return to his homeland.

La Gazzetta dello Sport understands that just a few remaining details need sorting out before Rosina can complete his move to Cesena.

In the meantime, Cesena are also interested in signing Juventus veteran Nicola Legrottaglie.

Legrottaglie's time in Turin looks to be over after Andrea Barzagli completed a medical yesterday afternoon.

Barzagli is expected to complete a move from Wolfsburg in the next few days if not hours.
