Alessio Cerci admits that he’d be unable to celebrate if he scored for Milan against Torino this weekend.

The winger has joined the Rossoneri on an 18 month loan from Atletico Madrid, after joining the Spanish champions from Toro in the summer.

“Would I celebrate against Torino?” Cerci considered at his official unveiling.

“No, how could celebrate? I have a tattoo that is dedicated to Torino, it’s a club and a place that has stayed in my heart.

“Would I celebrate against Torino?” Cerci considered at his official unveiling.

“No, how could celebrate? I have a tattoo that is dedicated to Torino, it’s a club and a place that has stayed in my heart.

“I hope for a good reception, I think I gave my heart and soul to that club. That’s what I expect, but if that’s not what happens there won’t be a problem because I have a clear conscience.”

Milan suffered defeat at home to Sassuolo yesterday, but Cerci is confident that the club can rally and secure third place, and the Champions League spot that comes with it.

“There’s a bit of bitterness [about the Sassuolo game], because we took the lead. The team was determined to get a result.

“Now we have to think about Torino, you have to react immediately.

“There are four or five teams fighting [for third place], the team has been set up well.

“We have to play to our best, we’ll fight to the end. We’re not afraid, because we’re Milan.

“I want to stay here for as long as possible. At the moment it’s important to get back to match sharpness, but I want to be here for years to come.”
