Milan winger Alessio Cerci has reportedly been given the go-ahead to join Genoa, and will have a medical tomorrow.

The former Torino man is on loan from Atletico Madrid, and had already agreed a deal with the Grifone, but a Qatari fund which owns part of his contract was blocking the move.

However, Sky is reporting tonight that the Qataris have now given the green light, leaving Cerci free to move to Marassi on loan for the rest of the season.

The Italian international is expected to have his medical tomorrow, ahead of completing the transfer.

The deal should allow Diego Perotti to leave the Grifone, and join up with Roma, who are only waiting for approval from Coach Luciano Spalletti.
