New Catania boss Vincenzo Montella expects to be deprived of Matias Silvestre on the transfer market.

"If a good offer arrives then I do believe that he will be sold," the former Roma tactician told Radio Centro Suono Sport.

"He's a really good player who has margins of improvement. It will be very disappointing to lose him."

Catania chief Pietro Lo Monaco has admitted that he is ready to listen to all offers for his players.

"I have a squad of 27 and they are all on the market," Lo Monaco noted. "If offers are made then they will be considered.

"A small club like ours must always look at making money.

"Silvestre? It's a shame that he could leave and most of the offers for him are coming from abroad," he concluded.
