Reports this afternoon suggest that Roma and Milan are interested in swapping Marco Borriello and Antonio Cassano.

The Corriere dello Sport are reporting that the two clubs are considering the option. Former Milan man Borriello has returned to the Giallorossi this summer after a six-month loan spell with Juventus” data-scaytid=”8″>Juventus and is known to be on the lookout for a new club.

Meanwhile, Cassano has also been linked with a departure out of Milanello, with former club Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”12″>Sampdoria more than once taking questions on links with the No 99.

Sporting director Walter Sabatini admitted to the media today that he has also been offered Cassano, but moved to suggest it may not have been an entirely official action.

“I received a phone call about Cassano yes,” reflected Sabatini today.

“But I would not call it an offer from Milan. A small draft in the market, yes, probably from a third party. Our priority is a central defender.”
