The Disciplinary Commission announced its rulings after Serie A Week 8.

Lazio protested that their 2-1 defeat to Sassuolo was influenced by “simulation” from Cannavaro to earn a penalty.

However, after viewing the images from multiple angles, the commission ruled “contact between the Lazio player’s left foot and the left foot of the Sassuolo player could not be ruled out beyond reasonable doubt.”
