Joao Cancelo and Luis Nani have been omitted from Portugal’s squad for the World Cup, but Andre Silva makes the cut.

Portugal boss Fernando Santos has gone with Cedric Soares and Ricardo Pereira as his right-back options, while Goncalo Guedes, Gelson Martins, Ricardo Quaresma will provide the width.

However, Silva is in, despite only two Serie A goals for Milan, and Mario Rui is the only other Serie A representative after a strong end to the season with Napoli.
