The Derby della Madonnina is on Saturday and Milan have won only one of their last 11 Serie A meetings with Inter, but could end the Nerazzurri’s record home run for a second time.

It kicks off at San Siro on Saturday at 17.00 GMT.

These two sides drew 1-1 earlier in the season, so it could be the first time they’ve shared the spoils in both derbies since the 2016-17 campaign, when current Rossoneri boss Stefano Pioli was on the Inter bench.

The recent record has certainly not been in favour of the Diavolo, who won only one of their last 11 Serie A encounters with their cousins, drawing four and losing six.

The lone outlier was a 2-1 result sealed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s quick-fire brace in October 2020.

That match was funnily enough also the last Serie A home fixture that Inter lost, followed by 28 games unbeaten here.

It is the longest Inter unbeaten home run in the league since 46 matches, set between April 2008 and November 2010.

That streak was ended by Milan, a 1-0 defeat decided by an Ibrahimovic goal in November 2010.

  1. The good news is, as reports says, Ibrahimovic maybe won’t be ready to play, so we’ll keep record, otherwise Ibra will beeak it. 😋
