UEFA has announced that Turkish referee Cüneyt Çakir will take charge of the contest, following his appointment by the UEFA Referees Committee.

UEFA has announced that Turkish referee Cüneyt Çakir will take charge of the contest, following his appointment by the UEFA Referees Committee.

The 38-year-old has been an international referee since 2006, taking charge of 70 UEFA matches, including the first leg of this year’s tie between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, as well as the second leg of RomaFiorentina in the Europa League.

Çakir will be assisted by his countrymen Bahattin Duran and Tarik Ongun. The fourth official will be Jonas Eriksson from Sweden, and the two additional assistant referees, Hüseyin Göcek and Barış Şimşek, are also from Turkey.
