Everyone at Football Italia would like to wish our readers around the world a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, as we will be back on December 27.
We will be off eating panettone and toasting 2021 with Prosecco in hand, a year that brought Italy the UEFA EURO 2020 trophy as European Champions.
It also took Inter back to the Scudetto after a decade’s absence and Juventus saw their nine-season domination of Serie A come to an end.
The pandemic continued, but crowds returned to Italian stadiums and brought some classic ultras tifo to the stands.
Here’s hoping for a wonderful 2022, with many great Calcio results and entertaining games to enjoy.
