Gianluigi Buffon’s agent has confirmed that the Juventus goalkeeper ‘would be happy’ to join Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG have reportedly offered Buffon a four-year contract, just weeks after it seemed the 40-year-old was planning to retire, and Silvino Martina confessed his client was hopeful of completing a move to the French capital.

“We’d be happy if Gigi went to Paris next season,” he told Le Parisien.

It also comes a day after new Italy boss Roberto Mancini left the door open to the shot-stopper adding to his 167 international caps, despite his apparent retirement from the Azzurri scene.
