Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot is on record as saying ‘if Carlo Ancelotti is there, I’ll immediately say yes to Napoli’.

Mundo Deportivo reported on Thursday that Juventus were in pole position for Rabiot, but CalcioNapoli24 claims Ancelotti’s appointment as Napoli boss ‘has changed things’.

The website explains the Frenchman could replace Marek Hamsik, who has been heavily linked with moves to China, will demand a €3.5m salary and has asked his representatives to negotiate with the Partenopei.

Rabiot scored five goals and seven assists in 49 competitive appearances for PSG during the 2017-18 campaign, winning a domestic treble.

However, BBC Sport notes his form ‘fell off a cliff’ after his side’s Champions League last-16 exit to Real Madrid in March.

Furthermore, the 23-year-old pulled out of France’s standby list for the World Cup, having been left out of Didier Deschamps’ 23-man squad.
