Torino right-back Bruno Peres “is ready for a big club,” said his agent, as Roma try to offer Carlos Carbonero as part of a deal.

The 25-year-old Brazilian impressed last season with his forays forward, including a stunning coast-to-coast goal against Juventus.

Roma had already been interested in Peres back in January, but Toro rejected a bid worth €8m.

“Are there negotiations now? To know that you’d have to ask Torino or Roma,” agent Bernardo Da Silva told laroma24.it.

“Bruno is one of the best full-backs in Europe. Only President Urbano Cairo can intervene on these issues, because he has another three years left on his contract with Torino.

“Is he ready for the step up to a big club? Yes, obviously. He was already prepared when he left Santos.”

According to Tuttosport, Roma could try to sway Torino by including midfielder Carbonero as part of the deal.

The Colombian scored three goals in 22 games while on loan at Cesena last term.
