“Why did no-one mark me? I was coming from far out, I started my run from outside the box. I didn’t quite understand why wanted me to go up, the Coach [Roberto De Zerbi] or my teammates, in the end it went well.

“I didn’t see [Gennaro] Gattuso at the end of the game, I honestly wasn’t even able to say ‘hello’, I went back to the dressing room to celebrate, it’s a very important point.

“We still believe we can stay up, something has changed on a psychological level. We’re a young team without much Serie A experience, compared to other teams. This first Serie A point became an obsession for us.”
