Brahim Diaz stood by his word and joined Theo Hernandez in dyeing his hair red and black to celebrate Milan’s Champions League qualification.

The Rossoneri teammates had made the pledge during the 2020-21 season and secured their place in the biggest UEFA club tournament by finishing second in Serie A.

Theo Hernandez had already dyed his hair half black and half red, showing off the results on Instagram, and pointing out Brahim Diaz had agreed to do the same.

Today the Spain international unveiled his spectacular new look too.

“Promise kept!” he wrote in the social media post.

Theo Hernandez has already washed his out in favour of a bleached blond hairdo.

Brahim Diaz had been due to leave Milan this summer, as his loan with Real Madrid had expired.

However, the two clubs managed to negotiate a new deal, which has the 21-year-old on a two-season loan with option to buy for a reported €22m.

In turn, Real Madrid should also have a counter-option to buy him back for circa €27m.
