Paulo Dybala’s pre-season with Juventus has not started on the right foot, as he already has a muscular injury.

The Argentina international will have to work separately from his teammates for the next few days, as he has been diagnosed with fatigue in the left thigh.

The same is true of youth team player Marco Da Graca, who has a right adductor issue.

It’s not a good start for Dybala, who spent most of last season on the treatment table.

He will therefore miss this weekend’s first pre-season friendly against Cesena.

The 27-year-old made just 26 competitive appearances for the Bianconeri during the 2020-21 campaign.

He still managed to contribute five goals and three assists, almost all of them in Serie A.

Dybala’s future is up in the air, as his contract is due to expire in June 2022 and negotiations for an extension continue to crawl along slowly.

Returning coach Max Allegri is eager to get the best out of the former Palermo talent, who was purchased by Juventus for €40m in 2015.
