According to multiple reports in Italy, Borussia Dortmund are ready to place an opening bid to sign Juventus defender Merih Demiral.
The Turkey international wants to leave Turin to get more playing time and the Old Lady is open to selling him for €35m.
Demiral is one of Atalanta‘s options to replace Cristian Romero if the Argentinean joins Tottenham, but according to Sky Sport Italia, Borussia Dortmund are now ready to place a formal bid for the former Sassuolo defender.

Demiral could reunite with former Juventus midfielder Emre Can who moved to Germany in January 2020 due to lack of playing time in Turin under Maurizio Sarri.
The former Sassuolo defender joined Juventus in an €18m deal in 2019.

He suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury in January 2020 and has played 32 games with the Bianconeri. He has scored one goal against Roma, in the same game where he also picked up his knee injury.
