Juventus are reportedly planning to offer Leonardo Bonucci a new contract in a bid to scare away Chelsea.

According to Calcionews24, Chelsea “really like” Bonucci and could offer in excess of €60m for the centre-back, but having already rejected Manchester City’s millions for the centre-back in the summer, Juve continue to insist he is not for sale.

Links between the Blues and defenders have returned after a run of defeats that have seen Antonio Conte’s side register just one clean sheet so far this season, including three goals shipped at Arsenal last weekend.

Consequently, Tuttosport claims meetings have already taken place between the Bianconeri and Bonucci’s entourage over an extension until 2021 and an improved salary of €5m.
