Wolfsburg stopper Simon Kjaer could replace Leonardo Bonucci in the Juventus defence for 2011-12.

The Old Lady have been active on the transfer market so far and are close to signing striker Giuseppe Rossi from Villarreal and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Arturo Vidal.

Their spending won't stop there though as they will also be targeting a new centre-back for boss Antonio Conte.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Danish international Kjaer is a possible summer acquisition.

The former Palermo stopper has also been linked with Roma, but they seem unwilling to match Wolfsburg's10m asking price.

Juve will apparently accelerate their interest in Kjaer during the next few days.

However, the Old Lady may also lose a defender this summer if Turin daily Tuttosport are to be believed.
