Leonardo Bonucci calls Juventus “my home” following his return from Milan after just 12 months.

The centre-back won six Scudetti in a row with the Bianconeri, but in the 2016-17 campaign he had a falling out with Coach Massimiliano Allegri.

That prompted a transfer to Milan last summer, but tonight the Italian international returned in a swap deal with Mattia Caldara.

“It was difficult to imagine that this would happen, but it’s fantastic that it has,” Bonucci told Juventus’ official YouTube channel.

“I’m excited. Turin is my home and Juventus is my home, so I’m really happy to be back.”

It remains to be seen how Bonucci will be greeted by the Juventus fans, as while some welcomed him back he was also whistled and insulted earlier today.
