Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci and ex-Juventus teammate Gonzalo Higuain are reportedly Serie A’s biggest earners.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Bonucci’s Milan salary is less than the €8m previously reported but on par with the €7.5m also earned by Higuain.

However, the Italy international’s agreement contains bonuses, which could propel his earnings in one year to €10m.

In third place would be Juve forward Paulo Dybala (€7m), followed by colleague Douglas Costa (€6m) and Rossoneri goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma (also €6m) in joint-fourth.

As for the Coaches, Gazzetta claims Old Lady boss Max Allegri is leading the way by some distance, pocketing a salary of €7m.

Inter’s Luciano Spalletti comes second after signing a contract worth €4m a season with the Nerazzurri over the summer.
