There is no chance that Juventus will sell Leonardo Bonucci this summer, the player's agent maintains.

"He'll stay at Juventus, I'm 100 per cent sure," Davide Torchia told Sportitalia. "There is no doubt about it."

The defender, who was co-owned by Bari and Genoa, joined the Bianconeri last summer in a €15.5m deal.

Bonucci was Juve's second most used player thanks to his 44 appearances, one shy of Alessandro Del Piero and one more than defensive colleague Giorgio Chiellini.

Nevertheless, Bonucci did lose his place in the first team towards the end of the season after being replaced by Andrea Barzagli.

He was also omitted from the latest Italy squad, but Andrea Ranocchia is confident that new Juve boss Antonio Conte will help Bonucci return to the international set-up.

"I'm certain that he'll be able to get back to his high levels and be back in the Azzurri squad thanks to Conte," Inter stopper Ranocchia said of his former Bari teammate.

"Conte, who I had at Arezzo and Bari, is a Coach who pays close attention to the defensive side of the game.

"Bonucci will improve as a player with him."
