Marca drew up their Worst XI of 2018, including Leonardo Bonucci, Benedikt Howedes and current Rossoneri man Tiemoue Bakayoko.

The Spanish paper published the list of their most disappointing performers for last season in world football.

These included two figures who were in Serie A, as Bonucci made the grade for his one-year stint as captain of Milan, which culminated in his swift return to Juventus.

Also in the defence was Howedes, the German international who spent the season on loan at Juventus from Schalke 04.
