Former Juventus player Zibi Boniek has criticised the quality of the present Old Lady outfit.

The Pole isn't afraid to critcise the Turin giants despite his links with the club and he's taken another swipe.

"Juventus have just two players of class," he noted. "They are Alessandro Del Piero and Gianluigi Buffon.

"However, these players belong more to the past than they do to the future."

Juve have had a disappointing season and last week's 0-0 draw at Fiorentina basically ended their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.

"Juventus can now only qualify for the Europa League," Boniek added. "Gigi Del Neri may have been pleased with the display in Florence.

"However, Juventus are a side who should be challenging for the top and it is therefore normal that his work is criticised – especially as they never battled for the Scudetto."

Juve, eight points behind fourth-placed Lazio, entertain Catania at the Olimpico on Saturday night.
