Reports in Germany claim that Bologna have agreed the basic terms of a transfer for Bayern Munich striker Joshua Zirkzee, who will try again to make his mark in Serie A.
Sky Sports Deutschland maintain the clubs are working on the final details, but the fee will be €8.5m plus 50 per cent of the sell-on transfer in future.
Bayern Munich could also retain a buy-back clause, because they believe so much in his potential.
Zirkzee has already agreed personal terms on a contract at the Stadio Dall’Ara to June 2026.
The 21-year-old Dutch centre-forward has played in Serie A before during a brief six-month loan spell at Parma in 2021.
He spent last term at RSC Anderlecht, where he scored an impressive 18 goals with 13 assists in 47 competitive games for the Belgian club.
VfB Stuttgart had been in negotiations to bring in Zirkzee, but Bologna have won that race.
