New Lazio defender Milan Bisevac is “very happy” to be in Serie A and reveals why he made the move.
“I like a challenge and wanted to get back to playing consistently,” Bisevac told b92.net in Serbia.
“Lyon offered me a contract renewal and I considered their proposal for a long while until Lazio arrived and my agent Mateja Kezman called me.
“The rest is well known, I am very happy with the way things went. I spent 10 wonderful years in France, but I needed to change.

“Yesterday I watched Lazio’s game against Carpi and realised what a big difference there is between Serie A and Ligue 1. I hope to challenge myself in Serie A as soon as possible.
“I know Lazio expect a great deal from me and in the past they had some great Serbian players who left their mark. I really want to continue the positive tradition.”
