Napoli director of sport Riccardo Bigon claims he is very close to signing Espanyol defender Victor Ruiz.
The highly rated Spanish centre-back has emerged as Napoli's No 1 target this winter.
"We are very close," Bigon said. "Something might be unblocked in the next few hours.
"I believe that more than this evening, tomorrow will be the decisive day."
Bigon also revealed that Napoli intend to enquire about Milan defender Sokratis.

"Lecce are looking at Fabiano Santacroce, but the problem is replacing him. It's not so easy given that Gianluca Grava is injured and I don't think Sokratis will move from Milan.
"However, we need to ask Milan about this," he concluded.
