Lucas Biglia says he joined Milan “to win things” as the midfielder prepares to face former club Lazio on Sunday.

Biglia was one of 11 signings made by Milan over the summer and is available to play against Lazio, where he spent six years, after recovering from a thigh injury.

“Lazio? They’re a good team, they beat Juventus in the Supercoppa,” he said at a Press conference.

“It’s not easy to beat Juve. They’re a team that work well as a group, they’re organised tactically and they have quality players, especially in the final third.

“We played in a 3-5-2. I feel good, I played 30 minutes against Cagliari. After that, I played for Argentina and trained well until Wednesday morning.

“Locatelli? Manu has a lot of quality. Like all of us, he must grow in order to achieve great objectives.

“Who’s impressed me the most? Cutrone. I knew about the others, but he’s impressed me so much.

“Winning? It needs so much work and humility. We mustn’t think that one game is easier than another.

“We must adapt to this [mentality] and understand it so we can face everything to the maximum.

“Milan? I found what I expected. Being around great people like Gattuso is amazing. There are some top attackers here and everything depends on what the Coach says.

“Injury? We must always improve and go as far as possible in three competitions. This is our objective.

“I’m adapting to everything: my teammates, the Coach and our style of play. I feel good.

“Not winning with Lazio? It’s certainly a big regret, I chose this ambitious project to win things. We hope to go far in our three competitions.

“I’m happy about going back to Rome and seeing my old teammates, with whom I have a good relationship, but I’m wearing another jersey now.”
