Bernardeschi has been tried out in various roles under first Max Allegri and now Maurizio Sarri without ever truly hitting form for the Old Lady.

The midfielder joined the Bianconeri from Fiorentina in the summer of 2017 for €40m, but Tuttomercatoweb speculates that time is running out for the 25-year-old to make his mark in Turin.

Paqueta meanwhile started brightly in Milan upon signing last January, but has since tailed off and has been constantly linked with a move away from San Siro.

TMW suggests that a swap deal could be in the offing between the clubs, with Rossoneri directors Paolo Maldini and Zvonimir Boban known to be admirers of Bernardeschi.

Stefano Pioli recently adapted a 4-4-2 formation, which could suit the Juventus midfielder.

Paqueta meanwhile could find space in the Juve starting XI under Sarri’s 4-3-1-2 system, with the Brazilian’s best form coming as a No 10.

Aaron Ramsey has struggled for fitness this season, whilst Bernardeschi has also failed when utilised in the No 10 position.

TMW states that whilst it remains to be seen if the swap deal will go ahead, talks are on going between intermediaries.

Juve's director of sport Fabio Paratici has denied the rumours of a deal.
