Milan President Silvio Berlusconi refuses to back Sinisa Mihajlovic – “let’s see how the season ends”.

The Serbian took over as Rossoneri Coach last summer, but has been the subject of constant barbs from the patron.

The Diavolo are in the Coppa Italia final and currently sit sixth in Serie A, and the former Prime Minister is still not sure if he’ll retain his Coach.

“Mihajlovic?” Berlusconi considered on Radio Radio.

“Eusebio Di Francesco or Antonio Conte? I don’t think they’d be the right names, even if Conte is an excellent Coach and did well at Juventus.

“Right now I can’t say anything though, we still have to decide our future. We’re in a transitional phase which is absolutely for the good of Milan.”

Berlusconi was more equivocal on the future of 17-year-old goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who has been linked with Chelsea.

“Gianluigi Donnarumma is not for sale, he’ll be the Milan ‘keeper for the next 15 years.

“I’m working with a lot of passion to return the club to past successes. We have two solutions: build an international squad, challenging very rich foreign clubs with oil barons for owners, or bet on an all-Italian team, with many players coming from our youth teams.

“I like this second way a lot, we hope to make the right choice.”
