La Gazzetta dello Sport claims the Algerian will stay put, as Rangnick has identified the midfielder as one of the cornerstones in the team and would like to start building the new midfield from the former Empoli man.

The 22-year-old arrived for €16m from Empoli last summer and has played 20 games in Serie A this campaign.

Bennacer, capped 22 times by Algeria, is tied to the Diavolo until June 2024 and it would require a big offer to make Milan consider letting the youngster leave this summer.
