Raoul Bellanova is getting closer and closer to completing a move to Inter as the Nerazzurri near an agreement with Cagliari.

The Milanese club are big fans of the 22-year-old Italian wing back, who is able to play on both sides of the pitch. He had a good campaign with the Rossoblu despite their relegation, scoring one goal and providing two assists in 31 Serie A appearances. Bellanova joined Cagliari on a loan deal with a buy option attached from Bordeaux, which’ll be activated before he’s sold onwards.

As reported by TuttoMercatoWeb, talks between Inter and Cagliari regarding Bellanova have now entered the final details stage, meaning an agreement is incredibly close now. The Nerazzurri will pay around €8m for the 22-year-old and will not include any players in the deal.

Bellanova is a product of Milan’s youth system and was sold to Bordeaux for around €770,000 back in January 2019. He’s had loan spells with both Atalanta and Pescara.

  1. Honestly Milan should have gone in for him and satisfied the homegrown criteria. Adds depth on the left to cover for Theo Hernandez.
