Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni, who has been linked with a move to Tottenham, insists that he wants to stay with the Nerazzurri ‘for many years.’

The Italy international released an interview published on today’s match programme ahead of tonight’s Supercoppa clash with Milan.

“I spent 12 years in Bergamo, in Atalanta‘s youth sector and I still have a solid bond with my city,” he said.

“At Parma, I experienced what it means to play in Serie A, and that season allowed me to join Inter. Milan is the city where I see myself and where I want to play for many years. It represents what I’ve always wanted, to play at San Siro for Inter.”

The 23-year-old is under contract with the Serie A giants until 2024 and the Nerazzurri are already preparing an offer to extend his stay at the club.

Bastoni has made 20 appearances with the Nerazzurri this season, scoring one goal.
