The 25-year-old loanee hasn't impressed since his recovery from a recent groin injury, and it's looking increasingly unlikely that the Rossoneri will buy him from his proprietary club Liverpool.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, his agent Mino Raiola took advantage of a trip to Italy to meet the player, in hopes of encouraging and motivating him. But the visit proved redundant, as Balotelli already seemed highly determined, with the paper reporting a direct quote.

“In the last eight games I'll give it my all to convince Milan to buy me and to earn a spot at Euro 2016,” Balo allegedly said.

The player reportedly also met with the club's joint-CEO Adriano Galliani, and he expressed the same feelings in that meeting.

Balotelli is convinced that he can convince skeptics, but the Gazzetta says it's highly unlikely Azzurri Coach Antonio Conte will consider him for Euro 2016, regardless of his performances in the last eight games of Serie A.

The Coach has already tested all of the players that he is considering for the tournament and it is believed he has neither the time nor the interest to start testing Super Mario.

Milan are also in a delicate situation, as Balotelli's performances don't justify the investment of €20m that a signing from Liverpool would cost.
