It is reported that Lazio’s Keita Balde Diao is set to be offered a new contract to remain with the club.

The Senegalese forward performed well after coming on as a substitute in the 3-0 home win over Pescara on Saturday, laying on a goal for Ciro Immobile.

Despite a controversial summer in which he missed training and was linked with a move away from Stadio Olimpico, Il Messaggero now claim that the 21-year-old will be offered an extension to his stay in Rome.

According to the Italian daily, Lazio President Claudio Lotito will propose a new deal on wages of €1.5m a season until 2021.

Balde is expected to start for the Biancocelesti on Tuesday evening when they take on Milan at San Siro.
