Italy U21 secured another three points with a 2-1 away win over Bosnia U21, as Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali provided two assists.

Paolo Nicolato’s men have won all three games in the European U21 Championship Qualifiers, thanks to Caleb Okoli and Emanuel Vignato goals in the first half.

A corner kick from Tonali found Okoli in the middle of the area and the Cremonese centre-back hammered it home after 19 minutes.

Bologna’s Vignato scored in his first U21 game after another Tonali corner, when he volleyed it in the back of the net after arriving at the far post.

Italy were 2-0 up after 27 minutes and the Azzurrini seemed comfortable for most of the game in Bosnia, but the hosts gave them a scare towards the end, when Adrian Leon Barisic smashed it via the cross bar and into the net.

Sweden secured a 2-0 win over Montenegro and are top in Group F, one point above Italy but with one more played.
