Atletico Madrid insist they have not spoken to any Serie A clubs about Sime Vrsaljko but admit “we’ll see in January.”

Vrsaljko has been heavily linked with the likes of Napoli and Juventus, given their lack of available full-backs, but Atleti’s President made it clear the Croat was still his player.

“He’s happy in Madrid and still our player, beyond what’s been said in Italy,” Enrique Cerezo told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“We’ve never had any contact with Napoli, Juventus or Roma, but I don’t know what will happen in January. We’ll see what happens.

“Possible meeting with Napoli in the Europa League? It’d be a wonderful match, like a Final.”
