Los Colchoneros host the Rossoneri tomorrow evening the second leg of their Champions League Last 16 clash.

Whilst they hold a 1-0 lead from the first leg at San Siro, their experienced Uruguayan centre-back has called for focus.

“It will be a very hard match, as was the first leg. I expect the best from Milan but I also expect the best from us,” Godin has told reporters today in the pre-match Press conference.

“I think we have a small advantage but this is football and we can't feel confident against a team like Milan. We have to play a great match, like this is a final. We cannot be confident.

“For everyone, progression to the quarter-finals is important. We have high hopes for the competition, like we do in La Liga.

“It is important at a competitive level because we wish to grow. We hope to get to the next phase, to allow us to develop both personally and in our football.”

Godin was asked about Adel Taarabt and his recent form for Milan.

“He is a great player, he has demonstrated much quality in the first leg and in the Italian League.

“We must have him in mind for this game, especially in our defensive areas.”
