In a sudden development this afternoon, Arthur has finally agreed terms with Juventus, allowing Miralem Pjanic to join Barcelona.

Multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia, Fabrizio Romano and Goal.com’s Romeo Agresti all report Arthur has now accepted Juve’s contract offer.

The Brazilian is expected to sign a five-year contract in excess of €5m a season plus bonuses once the final details are ironed out.

The Brazilian is expected to sign a five-year contract in excess of €5m a season plus bonuses once the final details are ironed out.

Juve will pay €70m plus bonuses for the midfielder, with €60m plus bonuses of that covered by Pjanic, who agreed personal terms with Barca long ago.

The deal is primarily going through for financial reasons as the balance sheets of both clubs stand to benefit.
