The Corriere della Sera suggest that Arsenal will submit an offer for Mario Balotelli imminently and that they are not too far away from Milan’s valuation.

The Gunners were reported over the weekend as intent on launching a €20m assault for the Italy international, who has been linked with a move away from San Siro so far this summer, at the right price.

Despite Adriano Galliani denying that any offer had come in for the forward, the Gazzetta dello Sport indicate that his potential sale was one of the items of discussion at an evening meeting with Silvio Berlusconi, Barbara Berlusconi and Pippo Inzaghi.

On from this, the Corriere della Sera today are running the line that the UK’s weekend assessment on the situation is accurate and that an offer from Arsenal at the €20m mark will arrive imminently.

The publication also assert that whilst the Rossoneri are looking for €25m, that an agreement on price between the two clubs is unlikely to be too distant.
