Multiple reports in Italy claim Arsenal have sounded out Nicolò Zaniolo’s availability over a potential move in January.

La Repubblica and Il Corriere della Sera claim the Gunners want to bring Zaniolo to London in the winter transfer window.

The article on Corriere della Sera is by Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio who claims Roma value Zaniolo between €30m and €40m.

The Italy international’s contract expires in June 2024 and talks over a potential extension have not begun yet.

His agent Claudio Vigorelli provided the latest updates in December, claiming that he’d demand a salary in line with the transfer value made by the club over the summer.

Zaniolo was booed by his own fans during a 1-0 win over Genoa in Coppa Italia last week but was defended by José Mourinho after the game. Zaniolo, 23, has scored two goals in 17 appearances this term.

He made his senior Italy debut in 2019 and has scored two goals in 11 appearances with the Azzurri.

  1. Feel this is a good move for him. Will test him and hopefully help fulfil his potential . He is languishing in the Serie A .
