Il Corriere dello Sport understands he will definitely be part of the midfielders in the Italy 23, which include Andrea Pirlo, Daniele De Rossi, Claudio Marchisio, Angelo Palombo and Stefano Mauri.

It also appears as though Prandelli will choose one between Cristian Ledesma, Andrea Lazzari, Simone Pepe and Antonio Nocerino.

The Rome-based newspaper also expects Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli to be included again despite being suspended for his club side.

The FIGC's code of ethics usually prohibits such a call-up, but Prandelli feels the former Inter youngster deserves more international experience.

However, Antonio Cassano will almost certainly be left out in light of his dispute with Sampdoria.

Prandelli will formally unveil his squad for a friendly against Romania in Klagenfurt on November 17after this weekend's round of games.
