“We have to be careful in this group,” Ancelotti told Amazon Prime Italia. “No one would have expected Sheriff would win.
“We and Inter are the two favourite teams to advance to the next round, we have an advantage, but no one would have expected Sheriff Tiraspol to win against Shakhtar.
“We have to be careful. We suffered. In the first half, Inter held a high pace and that paid off in the second half.
“The match was very balanced. We lost too many balls, [Marcelo] Brozovic’s position put us in difficulty, but the team managed to defend themselves.”
